Ingredients

Steps:

1 After the burdock is washed, cut into pieces, do not cut too small, and the beef will shrink from one-third to one-half in the process of stewing. Onion diced, red pepper diced, tomato diced, and diced potatoes.

2 Beef cold water pot sputum bleeding water, in this process can add pepper and cooking wine to simmer, drain the water and use.

3 Open the medium fire, put the right amount of vegetable oil in the cast iron pot, add the chopped onion and stir fry, be sure to fry until the onion becomes 


translucent. After that, add red pepper and stir fry for three or four minutes. The red pepper is the same as the onion. Add garlic and tomato sauté for two or three minutes.

4 Add Hungarian sweet pepper powder, stir fry, and the previous vegetables are dyed red.

5 Add beef to stir fry, then add an appropriate amount of hot water, not more than two-thirds of the total amount of the pot, add star anise, cumin, cinnamon, salt, sugar,  and other spices, still boil over medium heat.

6 After boiling, cover the lid, change to a small fire, and cook for 2 to 3 hours. If you need to add water in the middle, it is best to add hot water.

7 After the beef is soft and rotten, add the potato pieces and two pieces of fragrant leaves. The effect of adding potatoes is to dissolve the starch of the potatoes into the soup, making the beef soup more sticky and taste better.
